You can fly to Abu Dhabi if you are a UAE national or resident, you are eligible for a visa on arrival or you hold a visit visa for Abu Dhabi. If you are a tourist, your visa must be issued in Abu Dhabi. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

When you land, you’ll have a COVID-19 PCR test in Abu Dhabi airport
Unless you’re travelling from a Green list country, you must quarantine for up to 12 days, depending on your vaccination status
Take a follow up COVID-19 PCR test on the days required, depending on where you’ve travelled from and your vaccination status
You will need to show your testing status on the Al Hosn app to enter public places in Abu Dhabi, including hotels, restaurants, malls and large supermarkets. A negative PCR result is required for your green pass to show in Al Hosn.

You won’t need to quarantine if you’re travelling on a direct flight from a Green list country, or when you fly to or from a travel corridor country if you’ve been fully vaccinated.

If you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you will not be required to quarantine when you travel between the UAE and the following destinations:

For new bookings, the maximum connection time in Abu Dhabi is 12 hours.
We’ve made it even easier to travel to Dubai when you fly to Abu Dhabi, with complimentary transfer services and discounted COVID-19 PCR testing. Travel to another emirate by Etihad Chauffeur or Etihad Coach, and when you arrive, simply follow the quarantine rules of that emirate.
If you’re travelling to another emirate via Abu Dhabi as a tourist, your visa must be issued in Abu Dhabi – tourist visas issued in Dubai or other emirates will only be accepted if you originate from a green country listed above.
If you’re travelling from another emirate to reach Abu Dhabi airport, you must present a negative COVID-19 test valid within 48 hours before you’ll be permitted to enter Abu Dhabi. Taxis are in operation between Dubai and Abu Dhabi airport.
