Our flexible fares give you the option to change your flight for free if you need to. Or you can opt for Etihad Credit if you’d prefer to save your trip for later.
If you booked with a travel agent, please get in touch with them to change your flight.
Cancel your flight and use the value towards your next break. We’ll reward you with up to US $400 and up to 5,000 Etihad Guest Miles. We’ll add your credit to a Travel Bank account to pay for flights or extras at any time within two years.

If your flight has been cancelled, you can simply keep your ticket open until you’re ready to travel again. You don’t need to call us or do anything until you’re ready to rebook. We’ll keep your ticket open until 31 March 2022, and if you haven’t used your open ticket within 12 months of your first cancelled flight, you will be entitled to a refund. Yes. Etihad Credit gives you total flexibility to rebook your trip when and where you’d like. You can choose any destination within the Etihad network or even our extensive Etihad codeshare network.
Yes, you can still cancel the remainder of your journey, then make a new booking when you are ready.
Etihad Credit vouchers are non-transferrable and non-refundable, though you can use your credit to book a trip for someone else.
Yes! We’ll use the details you provide to enrol you, so you won’t need to do anything else.
If you’ve already submitted your request for Etihad Credit, you can still sign up and claim your bonus miles.
You can pay to print personal documents, like your PCR test result, at selected airports. Please note that printing facilities are not available at every airport.
If you’ve opted for Etihad Credit, we’ll add the value of your credit to a Travel Bank account, which you can use to pay for flights, upgrades and extras. When you’re ready to book, select Travel Bank as your form of payment when you check out. Simple.
